One minute: from research question to files

A short overview of the undergraduate example: what was defined, which materials went in and how to inspect the outputs. 60 seconds, without narration; the full information is also available in the transcript.

  1. Start with the research question

The undergraduate example asks whether academic self-efficacy is associated with learning persistence. It contains 180 records, one per student measured once in an observational questionnaire study.

  2. Inspect the research inputs

The inputs include a study description and hypothesis, questionnaire, dataset and variable dictionary. Each of the two scores is the mean of five items scored from 1 to 5. There are no reversed items or missing responses in this example.

  3. Connect the question to the analysis

The example plan includes scale reliability, descriptive statistics and a Pearson correlation for the association hypothesis. The plot and assumptions are examined, with decisions and qualifications documented.

  4. Read the result in context

The scatterplot shows observations and an upward fitted line. Pearson's correlation in the sample of 180 is about 0.435. Academic self-efficacy is on the horizontal axis and learning persistence on the vertical axis. This association does not establish causation. Inspect the precise result and its uncertainty in the output files.

  5. Open the actual deliverables

The example includes a findings chapter, relevant methods supplement, discussion guidance, explanation guide and decision record. Data, a plot and SPSS-compatible output files are also available. Discussion guidance is not a complete discussion chapter. Deliverables for a future order depend on its agreed scope.

  6. Continue from the overview to the files

This overview summarizes an existing worked research example. Open the undergraduate study on Statikali to inspect its description, inputs and outputs. Consultation and ordering remain closed; the availability page contains the current status.
