Frequently asked questions
Answers about the research materials, written consultation, scope and deliverables. New consultations and orders are not yet open.
What exactly is statikali?
Is the consultation really free?
How long does it take?
What do I actually receive?
Will my results hold up to scrutiny?
What happens to my data, and can I come back later?
Starting and materials
Can I ask for help without knowing which test to use?
Yes. Describe the question, variables and study design rather than choosing a test first. The consultation page explains the materials and written report. New consultations are currently closed; check availability.
What if I do not have data yet?
Describe the proposed question, measures and collection plan. The consultation can identify information needed to scope an analysis; it does not approve the design or establish that a planned sample is sufficient.
Do I need a live appointment?
The initial consultation is written and starts from the study description and files. A live call or ongoing coaching is not included merely because you request a consultation.
Examples, outputs and understanding
Can I see what I receive before sharing data?
Yes. The basic study and advanced study include inputs, consultation reports, quotes and complete example packages. A file shown in an example is not automatically included in every order; your approved scope specifies the applicable files.
How do methods and discussion supplements differ?
The methods supplement describes data handling, scoring and analyses performed. The discussion guidance identifies interpretation points and limitations to connect to your sources. It is not a complete discussion chapter or literature review.
How can I prepare to explain the result to my advisor?
Read the advisor meeting guide alongside the findings. Check that you understand the question, the test choice, the estimated effect and the limits of the conclusion. The guide is not a promise of a live meeting or advisor approval.
Does SPSS compatibility mean IBM SPSS ran the calculations?
No. Compatibility describes a file format. A SAV data file, an SPS syntax file and browser-readable HTML output serve different purposes; HTML is not a native SPV file. The examples let you inspect the actual files.
Scope and follow-up
Are additional analyses automatically included?
No. Additional questions or models must be specified in the quote and selected before the work is approved. The supplementary model in the advanced example is a separately defined analysis, not a promise to test every background variable.
What if my advisor requests a change?
Send the specific comment and identify the relevant output. A correction is reviewed against the approved scope; a new question, dataset or analysis may require a separate quote. A request does not automatically entitle you to unlimited revisions.
